If you could go back and witness any historical event, which one would you pick?
There are quite a few things, but for me it would be the first time a book was ever published.
Yes I know manuscripts exited, but I am talking about publishing.
Imagine standing there when The Diamond Sutra was being printed, watching pages being pressed from carved wooden blocks, and realizing that humans had figured out a way to reproduce ideas and send them beyond one person’s lifetime.
As someone who loves writing, I really appreciate this one because it’s basically witnessing the moment storytelling and knowledge became something that could be copied, preserved, and passed through generations at scale.
