What’s the best way to deal with negative thoughts?

There are so many ways, for me personally I ask questons. Why am I having this thought?

What am I thinking about?

How did I even came up with the thought?

I ask myself questions a lot, and that makes me realise the source of it. And then I reason with myself (sounds like I’m talking to myself, yes, but it helps okay😶)

I also meditate,listen to music and talk about all good things to make myself feel better.
