I believed that chewing gum was made out of worms. Yup, we were told that chewing gum was made out of worm.
When we were small we went to Jim Corbett park, and the guide there told us that chewing gums are made by crushing worms., and we believed it. I didn’t even thought about chewing gum, I ran away from it.
But of course when I grew up I realized we were lied to, so we don’t eat it.
I now know that Chewing gum is primarily made of a flavorless gum base mixed with sweeteners, softeners, and flavorings. AND NOT WORMS???
Genuinely, why do people do that to kids. It’s so stupid. Just tell them the truth. Tell them that you can choke instead of traumatizing children.
